Summary

As Head of Sustainability, youll set the vision and lead the charge across Chobanis most important environmental frontiers - climate, water, waste, packaging, and responsible sourcing. You wont just advise from the sidelines; youll be a trusted partner to our leadership team and the driving force behind how a purpose-built food company turns ambition into measurable impact.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Lead all of Chobanis Environmental Sustainability Pillars while helping orchestrate the companys total ESG strategy
  • Build on and bring to life a sustainability vision thats woven into the fabric of who we are and where were going
  • Build, lead, and inspire a team that turns bold goals into real programs across the organization
  • Dig into the data - run regular assessments, spot the gaps, and design the plans that close them
  • Partner across the business - supply chain, operations, product development - to make sustainability part of how every team works, not an afterthought
  • Own how Chobani tells its ESG story to customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders, backed by metrics that hold up to scrutiny
  • Stay ahead of where the industry is heading, and bring the best thinking back home to sharpen our strategy
  • Be a visible champion and spokesperson for everything Chobani is doing to protect the planet
  • Track what matters, report on progress, and bring our performance story to senior leadership

Requirements

The requirements of this position include:

  • 10+ years of Management experience
  • 5+ years of experience leading a sustainability organization
  • 10+ years of management experience
  • 5+ years leading a sustainability organization
  • A knack for complex problem solving - cutting through ambiguity to develop, evaluate, and implement real solutions
  • Strong communication skills - the ability to convey ideas clearly and rally people behind them
  • Sharp critical thinking - using logic and reasoning to weigh trade-offs and choose the right path forward

The salary range for this full-time position is $217,000.00 - $342,100.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
