We'll trust you to:

  • Advise senior management of material issues and opportunities, including proposed operating, financial, leasing, and capital decisions requiring approval.
  • Evaluate and advance new commercial office development opportunities, including market analysis, diligence, underwriting, and preparation of investment-approval materials.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with public-sector stakeholders, community partners, tenants, consultants, and other project constituents.
  • Mentor and develop junior development professionals.
  • Represent Related with sound judgment, professionalism, integrity, and a high degree of accountability.

Qualifications

  • Direct experience leading at least one significant office project through a substantial portion of the full development lifecycle, ideally from pre-development through delivery.
  • Strong understanding of commercial office development, including financial modeling, development budgeting, design, construction, leasing considerations, and entitlement processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-party projects with significant financial, operational, and reputational considerations.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, including the ability to evaluate project economics, manage budgets, and interpret development pro formas.
  • Excellent project-management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands, manage deadlines, and drive execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset, with sound business judgment and a practical, creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior executives and varied internal and external audiences.
