Vice President, Payroll and Billing Operations Healthcare Workforce Solutions Company
The Vice President of Payroll and Billing Operations is a strategic and operational leader responsible for the end-to-end management of payroll, billing, revenue operations, time capture, workforce administration, and operational support functions across a rapidly growing healthcare staffing organization. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this executive ensures the accurate and timely processing of clinician pay, customer billing, cash acceleration, operational efficiency, compliance, and scalability.
This leader will oversee both U.S.-based and offshore teams, driving operational excellence through process optimization, automation, service-level accountability, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate brings healthcare staffing experience, deep pay/bill expertise, strong systems knowledge, and a track record of building scalable operations in a high-growth, private-equity-backed environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Operations, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within healthcare staffing, workforce solutions, or contingent labor industries.
- 5+ years leading multi-functional pay/bill/revenue operations teams.
- Experience managing both offshore and domestic operational teams.
- Strong knowledge of payroll, billing, timekeeping, revenue cycle, and shared services operations.
- Experience with VMS/MSP environments and contingent workforce management.
- Proven success implementing operational improvements and automation initiatives.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
