Vice President - Private Equity Advisory & Operational Consulting

A rapidly growing advisory firm focused on serving middle-market companies and private equity sponsors is seeking a Vice President to join its cross-functional consulting and transaction advisory platform. This role offers exposure across a broad range of engagements, including operational improvement, restructuring, transaction support, finance transformation, valuation, interim management, and strategic advisory assignments.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute complex advisory engagements for private equity-backed and middle-market businesses
- Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to management teams, lenders, and investors
- Oversee financial analysis, operational assessments, performance improvement initiatives, and transformation projects
- Support transaction-related workstreams, including due diligence, carve-outs, integrations, and value creation initiatives
- Develop and review financial models, including liquidity forecasting and cash flow analysis
- Mentor junior team members and assist with project management across multiple engagements
- Collaborate with professionals across restructuring, operational consulting, transaction advisory, valuation, and investment banking teams
Ideal Background
Candidates should possess approximately 7-10 years of relevant professional experience with a strong record of achievement.
Preferred backgrounds include:
- Turnaround & Restructuring Advisory
- Operational Performance Improvement Consulting
- Private Equity Operations, Portfolio Support, or Value Creation
- Financial and Strategic Advisory Services
- Distressed Investing or Special Situations Experience
Strong candidates will demonstrate:
- Experience leading complex financial and operational engagements
- Advanced financial modeling capabilities, including cash flow forecasting and liquidity analysis
