PURPOSE:
The Vice President of SBP Platform Engineering is responsible for building, operating, and evolving the organization''s core technology platforms, infrastructure, and tools to enable secure, reliable, and scalable business operations that meet the business needs of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association''s. This role defines the enterprise platform strategy, aligns technology investments to business priorities, and ensures the availability, resilience, and performance of critical systems that underpin product, data, and engineering delivery. Platform Engineering will serve as a strategic partner to Product Delivery, Cyber & Risk, Business Strategy & Performance, Business Operations, Customer Experience and other cross-functional teams. The role translates enterprise strategy into actionable platform direction, championing modernization of technologies and AI tools to enhance platform capabilities.

Salary Range: $194,400 - $291,600
