    12-Month Position

    JOB GOAL: To establish an educational climate that strives to ensure the health, safety and well-being of the school community through a program to develop positive student behavior: to provide and maintain quality instruction and related services; to supervise professional staff; to develop a meaningful and appropriate instructional program; to work with staff on curriculum development and evaluation; and to work cooperatively with the principal in all phases of the total educational program.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Valid New Jersey Principal Certificate.
    • At least five years of successful teaching experience.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills in the areas of curriculum development, program evaluation, staff development and school improvement.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Demonstrated skills to use the computer as a management tool.
    • Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status

    SUPERVISES: All Certified and Non-certified staff assigned to the school as assigned by, or in the absence of, the principal
