JOB SUMMARY:
Provides direct services through crisis intervention, criminal justice support and advocacy to crime victims in Clermont County Common Pleas, Municipal, and Juvenile Courts. Identifies and coordinates referrals and services Serves as a liaison with criminal justice professionals and community agency representatives, to address the rights of crime victims. Victim advocates are assigned to the Victim Assistance Division of the Prosecutor's Office and are supervised by the program director and division chief.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates must be a High School graduate or equivalent. Technical degree, associate's degree in criminal justice or related field, or comparable experience working in a criminal justice setting demonstrating the above skills is required. On-going training will be provided, including receiving and maintaining the status of Registered Advocate with the State of Ohio/OVWA is required.
