Job title: Video Editor III
Job duration: 3+ months
Job location: REMOTE, but must be able to work PST hours
We are looking for an experienced
3D artist who can provide full-time support for approximately 2 3 months. This is a temporary project-based need rather than an ongoing position.
The primary need is for strong
Cinema The Client and Redshift capabilities, including 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, animation, rendering, and compositing. The artist should be able to jump into active projects quickly and work closely with our internal video, production, and creative teams.
A significant portion of the work may involve
high-end product visualization, so experience creating photorealistic product imagery is particularly important. We would especially like to see experience working with
glass, transparent or translucent materials, reflective surfaces, liquids, and products that incorporate glass components, such as bottles, vials, containers, or similar packaging.
The ideal artist should understand the technical and artistic requirements needed to make these materials look realistic, including:
- Accurate Redshift materials and shaders for glass, plastics, metals, liquids, and other product surfaces
- Strong understanding of refraction, reflection, transparency, transmission, absorption, and index of refraction
- Ability to create realistic glass thickness, edges, imperfections, and interaction between multiple transparent surfaces
- High-level studio and product lighting, including controlling reflections and highlights to define transparent and reflective objects
- Experience creating photorealistic materials, textures, labels, packaging, and surface finishes
- Ability to balance physically accurate rendering with the creative requirements of commercial product imagery
- Strong understanding of render optimization, sampling, noise reduction, and delivering clean, high-quality Redshift renders
- Ability to create consistent imagery across both high-resolution stills and animation
The work may include product visualization, photorealistic CGI, 3D animation, motion graphics, and other 3D-driven content for video and digital projects.
Ideally, the artist would bring:
- Strong professional experience in Cinema The Client
- Advanced experience with Redshift
- A portfolio demonstrating high-end product visualization and photorealistic rendering
- Demonstrated experience rendering glass and other transparent or reflective materials
- Strong 3D modeling, texturing, shading, lighting, and look-development skills
- Strong animation and camera skills
- Experience creating commercial-quality product imagery and animation
- Experience with compositing and integrating 3D elements into live-action or motion graphics projects
- After Effects experience for compositing and finishing is a strong plus
- Ability to work across different brands, visual styles, and creative approaches
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work within tight production timelines
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to take creative direction and turn around revisions quickly and accurately
- Healthcare or pharmaceutical advertising experience is preferred, but not required
The artist would be expected to provide
consistent, full-time availability during the 2 3 month engagement and integrate with our existing production workflow during that period.
When reviewing potential candidates, we would especially like to see
portfolio examples of photorealistic product work involving glass, transparent packaging, bottles, vials, liquids, or similarly challenging materials.
