A fast-growing, eco-friendly DTC pet care brand rapidly expanding across major U.S. retailers. The company specializes in innovative pet cleaning, with a strong focus on high-performance video marketing and direct-to-consumer channels.

Short Description:
We are seeking a Performance Video Editor to join a scaling DTC pet care brand's in-house marketing team. Your role is to transform raw creator footage and scripts into scroll-stopping ad creatives for Meta, Instagram, and TikTok that drive measurable conversions. Working with a steady flow of content, you'll apply performance editing fundamentals (hooks, pacing, re-hooks, and retention techniques) to create visually compelling short-form content. You'll have direct visibility into creative performance metrics, allowing you to iterate continuously and optimize based on real business results. This is a high-ownership position suited for someone who thrives with autonomy, delivers consistently against tight deadlines, and understands what drives DTC video performance.

Location: 100% Remote (LATAM only)

Responsibilities:

• Create high-performing short-form video ads optimized for Meta, Instagram, and TikTok, applying performance editing techniques (hooks, pacing, re-hooks) to maximize engagement and conversions.

• Edit creator and product footage into compelling visual narratives, translating scripts into thumb-stopping content that performs across platforms.

• Source, organize, and manage B-roll and stock footage using provided subscriptions, maintaining organized asset libraries in Frame.io.

• Design marketing images, thumbnails, and social graphics using Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva to support campaign deliverables.

• Track assignments and project status in ClickUp, follow naming conventions and file organization protocols, and communicate proactively about timelines, blockers, and workflow improvements.

• Iterate quickly based on performance data, suggesting improvements to editing workflows and creative processes to strengthen team output.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of video editing experience specializing in short-form content for DTC or e-commerce brands (required).

• Expert-level proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro.

• Proven experience editing direct-response ads for Meta, Instagram, and/or TikTok for ecommerce or DTC brands.

• Mid-level proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.

• Strong fundamentals in typography, color theory, composition, and motion graphics.

• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Self-managed with strong time management and ability to meet daily and weekly deadlines.

• Proactive communicator who flags issues early and asks questions before problems arise.

• Comfortable giving and receiving feedback while proactively identifying opportunities to improve creative workflows.
