Seeking a motivated Video Installation Technician in McLean, VA to support video equipment installation and workspace setup for dynamic missions.
- Install and manage cables (CAT5, fiber optic, HDMI, coaxial, network, power), wall jacks, racks, and video gear.
- Assemble and connect video system components such as processors, scalers, receivers, amplifiers, media players, and control systems.
- Follow design documents for cabling and implementation, supporting local travel between sites.
- Minimum qualifications include relevant experience, cable management skills, troubleshooting, and video conferencing hardware expertise.
- Preferred certifications include AVIXA, Network+, or CCNA, with experience in video/cabling installation and network infrastructure.
- Work hours are from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with possible extended hours and travel.
- Must have TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
- Physical requirements include lifting equipment over 50 pounds, working in confined spaces, and ladder use.
