    Posted Pay Range: 

    $72,000 - $89,000

    As a Dental Hygiene Faculty member, you will combine your clinical knowledge with student-centered teaching to help students build the technical skills, professional judgment, confidence, and compassion needed for successful careers. You’ll work alongside experienced faculty and contribute to a program focused on preparing highly skilled professionals for the healthcare workforce.

    • Build positive relationships that encourage student engagement, persistence, and achievement.

    Shape the future of the Dental Hygiene program

    • Collaborate with faculty and colleagues to strengthen curriculum and student learning.
    • Participate in program planning, assessment, committees, and institutional or community activities.
    • Engage in professional development to strengthen teaching effectiveness and advances student achievement.
    • Bring your ideas, experience, and professional perspective to the continued growth of the program.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from a program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA), or a professional degree in dentistry (DDS or DMD).

    Current, unencumbered Idaho dental hygiene or dentist license, or eligibility for Idaho licensure.

    Certification in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration.

    Three or more years of recent clinical dental hygiene or dental practice experience.

    Current CPR/BLS certification.

    Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

    A genuine interest in teaching, mentoring, and helping students succeed.

    • Successful candidates must reside within Idaho
