Broadband, Secondary School, Training/Teaching, Willing to Travel
As a growing school, the Rural Virtual Academy is currently seeking the highest-quality applicant for a High School Science teacher available to begin no later than July 1, 2026.
Position Expectations include:
- Ability to teach live instruction classes on a daily basis throughout the year.
- Occasional travel required.
- Ability to maintain a remote office with a high-speed internet connection.
Preference will be given to those candidates:
- Holding a Wisconsin teaching license in grades 9 - 12 in the area of Broadfield Science (required).
- Previous online teaching experience.
- Willing to work year-round full-time (210 days).
Skills / Requirements:
For consideration for a teaching position, candidates must meet all of the job requirements as listed below:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Wisconsin Certified Teaching License in content area assigned; Grades 9 - 12 preferred
