Title: Virtual Lab Coordinator
Reports To: MS/HS Principal
Employment Status: Part-time (10-month); Regular School Day (Monday - Friday) - 7:00 am to 2:30 pm
RATE OF PAY: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour based on years of experience
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Covert Public Schools is looking for someone with a positive outlook and a commitment to high expectations for self, students, and staff. This person must generate trust, confidence, cooperation and enthusiasm. This person must have an appreciation of diversity, an ability to anticipate change, conflict, and imperfection with a thorough understanding of the requirements of the Michigan Merit Curriculum.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one year experience in the use and application of technology.
Ability to supervise and coordinate virtual services.
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate.
Credit recovery experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Experience in the use of data to analyze and solve problems.
Establishes and maintains an effective learning climate for students
Maintains positive, active relationships with students, parents, and staff
Other duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substance abuse in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District.
