Position SummaryWe are looking for an awesome Virtual Math Instructor / Tutor to create an engaging learning experience for students in elementary school. This opportunity presents the right candidate a unique role focused on helping the community and working with students, as well as a rich experience developing professional skills.
All applicants are required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency (don't worry, it's not that hard) and pass a background check. Following hiring, the new team member is given the opportunity to complete training in the Mathnasium Method. This is a part-time role with set hours in a virtual platform.
Seeking people to fill SPECIFIC HOURS 3:15-4:45pm Mondays and Thursdays, Additional hours available M-Th 5-7pm and Sat 10am-12pm.

Job Responsibilities- Provide exceptional instruction/ tutoring services to students
- Teach virtually using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices which include individualized instruction in a group setting
- Work collaboratively with team members to deliver the best possible experience for students
- Evaluate, grade, and correct student work
- Support kids to grow in skills and confidence, in every tutoring session
Qualifications- A passion for math and working with students
- Excellent communication skills
- Solid math competency
- Ability to balance various ongoing tasks
