What we are looking for: We are currently looking for a part time Virtual Mentor/Tutor to fill one position for JCS-LIVE. This is a 10-month, part-time hourly (non-exempt) position, up to 20 hours per week. Responsibilities: - This position is responsible for providing mentorship and tutoring to students in grades 6-12 in multiple subjects. - Mentors/Tutors will meet with students in a virtual environment. - The tutor must be able to present topics through multiple approaches to allow students to feel confident in their abilities to succeed. - Mentors must have patience and the ability to nurture students until they master a concept or standard. Requirements / Qualifications

We require a letter of introduction; three (1) letter of recommendation; proof of unofficial transcripts or Paraprofessional Certificate; a resume; current TB test (negative results, dated within 6 months of application); current CPR certification (or certify upon hire). Do not attempt to apply without these items - your application will not be accepted or reviewed.

• CPR/First Aid Certification (Current CPR certification required.) OR Other (If you do not have a current CPR certification, please post a document stating that you will obtain CPR certification upon hire.)
• Letter of Introduction
• Letter(s) of Recommendation (We require one (1) letter of recommendation. These must be PDF or JPG files, copies of actual letters on the author s letterhead and signed by the author. E-mails or text files are not acceptable.)
• Proof of HS Graduation (Please upload High School Diploma or equivalent or Unofficial College Transcript)
• Resume
• Other (If you do not currently have a Negative TB Test result, please submit a document stating that you will complete a TB test upon offer of employment.) OR TB Screening Result (Negative test results required, must be within 6 months of application.)
