Job Summary and Qualifications

This position will be on site at our Denver Virtual Center.  

You will monitor patients remotely with us across our seven hospitals.   

Must live in the Denver market 

This is an on-site job. 

The Virtual Telemetry Technician (TT) participates in high-quality, patient-centered care by continuously observing and monitoring cardiac rhythms and other vital signs from a centralized monitoring location, assuring a safe patient care environment.  

Essential Job Functions:  

  • You will notify the primary RN or charge RN when patient parameters and waveforms are outside of established parameters in accordance with division policy.  
  • You will interpret cardiac rhythms, heart rate, and arrhythmias and communicate abnormalities to nurses and physicians.  
  • You will create clear, accurate documentation on patient status and activity during the shift.  
  • You will demonstrate and respect patient rights to privacy and protection of patient confidentiality.  

Requirements:  

Must live in the Denver market. This is an on-site job. 

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.  
  • High school diploma/GED required.  
  • Successful completion of a Basic ECG/Arrythmia course preferred.  
  • Minimum of at least six months of experience in an acute clinical setting preferred  
  • Demonstrates good organizational skills.  
  • Provides safe and appropriate patient care within the Values & Standards.  
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret cardiac
