Job Title: Virtualization Systems Engineer
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: Contract
Pay Rate: Open, DOE
Client Industry: Banking

Job responsibilities

• Need Virtualization Systems Engineers to implement VM automation, using OpenShift.
• Team is moving from Open stack to Virtual using OpenShift
• IaaS team (Infra as Service) for Private Cloud
• Team is responsible for Deployments, working with vendors like Broadcom
• Optimizing Server Devices
• Looking to automate processes to fit large scale environment
• Need Virtualization Systems Engineers to implement VM automation, using Openshift. Team is moving from Openstack to Virtual using Openshift

Team will work on:

• Bare metal provisioning
• Compute, Storage, networking technologies
• Performance testing VMs
• Deployments at scale using openshift

Must have Skills:

• OpenShift
• VMware
• Kubernetes
• Red hat Linux
• Ceph Storage
• Python scripting

Nice to have:

• KVM
• Kubevert
• S3
• HyperV
• Express configuration as code (IaC)
• vSphere, ESXi, VCF, vRealize, Nutanix, NSX-T
• Experience migrating from Openstack to Virtual machines
• K8, Networking
