Job Summary (List Format) for Visual Designer & Vision OS App Developer:
- Develop immersive AR applications for Apple Vision Pro (visionOS) and MacOS to visualize transportation design concepts.
- Collaborate with industrial designers, UX specialists, and engineers to prototype and build mixed-reality experiences.
- Enable product design reviews and visualization in spatial computing environments.
- Build real-time, interactive applications to track and measure user interactions for validating design decisions.
- Create compelling, interactive 3D visualizations using mixed-reality and visionOS tools.
- Support development of design review apps, virtual walkarounds, and in-cab experience simulators for design and marketing purposes.
- Prototype intuitive, spatial UX interfaces tailored for industrial and commercial vehicle workflows.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and design teams to accurately render industrial designs.
- Optimize applications for performance, interactivity, and scalability on Apple's AVP platforms.
- Integrate and optimize complex 3D CAD models for real-time AR use.
- Utilize 3D software (Rhino, Alias, Blender, etc.) and visualization/rendering platforms (KeyShot, VRED, Unreal Engine).
- Apply knowledge of materials, lighting, and scene composition for photorealistic or real-time visuals.
- Translate 3D transportation concepts into user-friendly, interactive experiences within AR/spatial computing.
- Prototype and test UI/UX flows for mixed-reality apps focused on design visualization.
- Manage 3D asset pipelines using tools like Blender, Autodesk Tools, and Unity, alongside native Apple frameworks like Swift UI.
- Apply expertise in Objective-C, C++/C, Swift, and familiarity with Python, Java, and other languages.
- Use advanced mathematical skills (e.g., linear algebra) for 3D real-time application development.
- Apply human-centered design principles and interactive prototyping in AR/VR contexts.
- (Preferred) Bring experience from automotive or transportation sectors and showcase a portfolio of mixed-reality applications or visualization tools.
