Position Description Advertised Job Summary The Center for American Civic Leadership and Public Discourse is building a cohort of permanent and visiting faculty to assist in its research and teaching needs in fields centered on themes such as ordered liberty rule of law democratic self-governance justice and unalienable rights. Thesescholars will promote the dialogic cultural and civic literacies that are essential to a well-ordered and flourishing polity.This position comes with a 22 teaching load scholars who can teach courses required by the States REACH Act are particularly desired. Visiting Assistant Professors appointed in the Center are expected to devote significant time to their proposed research. They are also encouraged to attend or participate in various activities of the Center including faculty-student seminars colloquia and public lectures.
