Position Description

The College of Arts & Sciences at Lewis & Clark College invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position for the 2026-2027 academic year. Teaching responsibilities (three courses per semester, all expected to be in-person) will include Abnormal Psychology and Personality Theory, and may include Psychology Methodology, Statistics, and/or Health Psychology. The position is full-time and benefits-eligible, with a starting date of August 15, 2026.

Qualifications

Candidates must have relevant expertise and the ability to teach Abnormal Psychology, as well as a demonstrated potential for teaching excellence in an undergraduate liberal arts environment. A PhD or ABD in a relevant field of Psychology is preferred.

Eligibility to Work
