Visiting Assistant Professor of Computer Science (2-year position)

The Westminster College Department of Mathematics and Computer Science invites applications for a 2 -year Visiting Assistant Professor of Computer Science, to begin August 2027. We seek dynamic and innovative teacher -scholars who are committed to excellence in undergraduate education and student -centered learning. Responsibilities: • Teach three courses per semester (in person) in a broad range of courses in the computer science program and the College's core curriculum. • Maintain and expand our current offerings. • Maintain an active program of scholarship. Qualifications: • Ph.D. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with expertise in Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning by August 2027. • Demonstrated commitment to excellence and inclusivity in undergraduate teaching and research in a liberal arts setting. • Evidence of scholarly potential or productivity. • Given the current political and fiscal climate, Westminster College does not sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment Visas at this time.
