Description

The Psychology Department at Springfield College invites applications for a one-year, nine-month Assistant Professor appointment to provide teaching and advising. The expected teaching load is 12 credits (four courses) each semester.

The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic department that includes an undergraduate psychology major and an APA-accredited PsyD counseling psychology program. Actual salaries will vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to degrees attained, experience, and other considerations permitted by law. Comprehensive compensation details, including any additional benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.

Responsibilities

Position responsibilities include teaching primarily at the doctoral level for the Counseling Psychology PsyD program, though the candidate may be asked to teach for the undergraduate program as well. If desired, there are opportunities to support undergraduate and doctoral student research.

Qualifications

Successful candidates must have an earned doctoral degree in Psychology in Counseling or Clinical Psychology; ABD's may be considered.
