Orel Alliance provides compassionate support and essential services to Ukrainian refugees living in Nebraska, helping them resettle with dignity and hope. Orel is located in Omaha. VISTA members have the potential to help our organization, and the communities we serve, in ways that will leave a lasting impact. By increasing awareness through marketing efforts and community outreach, the members can help increase public support for our cause, enabling Orel Alliance to have a greater impact. VISTA members' efforts could help Orel Alliance prevent homelessness in the Ukrainian refugee population living in Nebraska. Orel will provide an excellent opportunity for the VISTA member to make a true impact. We value the contributions of all community members and will encourage the member to exercise autonomy with appropriate levels of guidance and support. The member will truly help us build a sustainable future for the organization by developing and implementing a fundraising program geared toward recruiting and retaining donors in the small- and mid-level range. We offer a great deal of flexibility, support and opportunities for learning, development and engagement with the community. We provide a fun, safe work environment that encourages independent thinking along with teamwork. We are also one of the only organizations in the USA that targets and financially supports Ukrainian refugees. Member Duties : VISTA member will assist Orel Alliance with developing and executing a social media plan, increase community awareness through outreach and engagement efforts, and will help develop and implement a fundraising strategy to attract additional support from the greater community. Members will analyze trends in fundraising and in the local community to help launch an informed plan to improve public support and awareness of the issues impacting the Ukrainian refugee community in Nebraska.
