The VISTA Leader will strengthen The Sanneh Foundation's AmeriCorps VISTA and Summer Associate programs by developing sustainable systems, tools, and resources that enhance member recruitment and application process, engagement, peer support, and program consistency. The VISTA Leader will assess current cohort support practices, identify opportunities for improvement, propose mentorship and professional development opportunities and coordinate VISTA training events while documenting processes and proposing or updating resources that staff and future members can continue using after the Leader's service year. By strengthening the infrastructure that supports VISTA and Summer Associate members, this project will help improve member engagement, increase consistency across the cohort, enhance knowledge transfer between service years, gather updates and stories from alumni VISTAs and build long-term organizational capacity to better serve low-income youth and families.
