VISUAL & PERFORMING ARTS TECHNICIAN Band Emphasis Part time Start and End Times May Vary BEGINNING DATE: 2026-27 School Year SALARY: TIMESHEET - $23.48 PER HOUR FILING DEADLINE Open until filled. 1. Assist with the implementation of a complete Performing Arts education program. 2. Oversee performing arts events and activities. 3. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. 4. Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others. 5. Reinforce instruction to individual or small groups of students as directed by the teacher. 6. Meet schedules and time lines. Plan and organize work. 7. Monitor, observe and report student behavior and progress according to approved policies and procedures. 8. Train and conduct staff development workshops in theater/performing arts. 9. Learn district policies and procedures for managing student discipline and learning behaviors. 10. Prepare and maintain records and reports. 11. Work independently with little direction. 12. Completed at least two years of study at an institution of higher education OR Obtained an associate's or higher degree (college level) OR met (pass) a rigorous standard of quality and can demonstrate, through a formal State or local academic assessment, knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing, reading, writing, and mathematics. 13.
