Previous experience with choreographing dance for a theater production, as well as understanding how to communicate a story through dance and movement, is desired. Selected candidate must have the ability to teach groups of 35+ students. See job description for complete duties and requirements.

This position is part of the Theatre Arts Department at Woodcreek High School as a choreographer for the Fall Musical production. This role is required to attend regular practices and rehearsals three (3) days per week. Working under the guidance of the VAPA Director, this position supports our visual and performing arts program(s). The assistant will provide general assistance, which may include supporting practices and rehearsals; providing support during performances and other events; helping with set-up, clean-up, and other logistical tasks; and performing all duties as assigned to ensure the success of the program. Qualifications: Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Familiarity with school-based VAPA environments, community art programs, or event production is highly preferred.
