JOB DESCRIPTION: The Visual Arts Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering high-quality visual arts instruction to students. The teacher will provide opportunities for students to develop artistic skills, creativity, and an appreciation for the visual arts through a variety of media and techniques aligned with Alabama Course of Study standards.

Bachelor's Degree in Art Education or related field from an accredited college or
university
Valid Alabama Class B Professional Educator Certificate in Visual Arts (or eligibility to obtain) Ability to meet suitability criteria for employment and pass required background
