Exciting Freelance Opportunity in Visual Merchandising

Join our dynamic team at SGH RISC Marketing, where creativity meets strategy. We are seeking a talented individual to take on a freelance role in Visual Merchandising, working closely with our New York office. This role offers the flexibility of working 30 to 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, from 9am to 5pm.

In this position, you will be responsible for creating and distributing monthly marketing and visual merchandising guidelines to over 1,560 stores. Your creativity and attention to detail will ensure that our diverse store formats and design concepts are consistently represented across all locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and distribute monthly in-store marketing and visual merchandising guidelines.
• Support new store openings, remodels, and relocations with updated guidelines and materials.
• Assist in creating new concept guidelines for special projects.
• Manage the graphics and prop catalog.

Requirements

• Understanding of marketing and visual merchandising within a retail environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and collaborate effectively with a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, primarily InDesign; experience with 2D and 3D renderings is a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a multi-brand retail environment.
• Proven ability to create and manage a high volume of associate-facing documents.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
