Visual Merchandising Manager

The Visual Merchandising Manager will partner with the Regional Visual Merchandiser to support and develop the Design staff throughout the region. In addition to supporting and developing the team, they will create and maintain the visual and merchandise presentation of their personal showroom(s) of responsibility. Coordinate furniture and accessory placement in accordance with the Standards Manual, organize and implement floor moves to accommodate weekly transfers. Hang artwork and mirrors, coordinate accessories with furniture groups and enforce the Standards Manual.

Responsibilities:

  • Weekly communication with Regional Visual Merchandiser to ensure the highest visual and merchandise presentation in accordance with the Standards Manual throughout the region.
  • Lend support to area Visual Merchandisers to ensure the Furniture and Accessory merchandising presentations are being created and maintained to company standard.
  • Work one on one with Area Visual Merchandiser to promote continued development of the design team.
  • Clearly articulate direction to the Area Visual Merchandisers through verbal and written communication.
  • Partner with Area VM, Regional Visual Merchandiser and the Buying Organization to develop merchandise flow and maintain merchandise count for each store.
  • Establish open and professional communication with Regional Visual Merchandiser, Area VM, Store Management, Regional Sales Manager and the buying organization.
  • Monitor accessory levels partnering with the Area VM.
  • Publish weekly work schedules and exercise excellent attendance, punctuality and time management skills.
  • Must have reliable transportation for travel but not limited to the region of responsibility.

Qualifications:

  • Requires the ability to work independently, good attendance, a well-groomed business casual appearance, excellent communication and organizational skills and courteous demeanor consistent with excellent customer service.
  • Must be able to lift and move furniture (50 lbs. or more) within the store as well as excellent mobility (bending, lifting, stooping, climbing, pushing, etc.).
