Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Visual Merchandising Specialist for a growing luxury beauty and wellness brand in Venice, California. This is an exciting contract opportunity for a highly creative retail merchandising professional who is passionate about visual storytelling, premium customer experiences, and elevating brand presentation within a flagship retail environment.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Visual Merchandising Specialist will be responsible for bringing the brand to life through exceptional in-store presentation, product merchandising, and retail storytelling. This individual will partner closely with store leadership to ensure a consistent, elevated, and visually compelling customer experience while supporting new product launches, seasonal campaigns, and ongoing merchandising initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines strong visual design instincts with hands-on retail execution experience and a deep understanding of luxury beauty, skincare, or lifestyle brands.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute and maintain visual merchandising standards throughout the retail environment
• Merchandise skincare and beauty products using premium, editorial-style presentation techniques
• Implement planograms, seasonal merchandising updates, and promotional displays
• Create and maintain visually compelling tester stations, educational areas, and feature displays
• Support new product launches, special events, and in-store activations
• Monitor inventory presentation and ensure timely visual replenishment
• Ensure strict adherence to brand standards and merchandising guidelines
• Train and support store teams on visual merchandising best practices
• Partner with leadership to continuously enhance the customer journey through visual storytelling
• Maintain a polished, organized, and inspiring retail environment

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of visual merchandising experience within beauty, skincare, luxury retail, or lifestyle brands
• Strong visual design sensibility and understanding of premium retail presentation
• Experience implementing merchandising standards across boutique or flagship retail environments
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of skincare, beauty, and wellness products preferred
• Passion for luxury retail, customer experience, and brand storytelling

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
