We are seeking a skilled and proactive VMware Administrator to design, deploy, and manage a robust virtual infrastructure environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with VMware, Veeam, and Omnissa Horizon (VDI) and will play a key role in ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance across a fast-paced production environment.
Design, deploy, and maintain VMware-based virtual infrastructure, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
Administer and support Omnissa Horizon environments for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
Manage and monitor Veeam Backup & Replication to maintain data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
Collaborate with cross-functional IT and factory operations teams to implement new systems and technologies.
Perform system upgrades, patch management, and regular maintenance across server and virtual environments.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and disaster recovery procedures.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, providing Tier II/III technical support.
Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to critical system incidents.
6–8+ years of experience in VMware administration and virtual infrastructure management.
Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and Horizon VDI.
Proficiency in Veeam Backup & Replication tools.
Experience with Windows and Linux server administration.
Solid understanding of networking concepts, storage systems, and disaster recovery strategies.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently in a factory or production environment.
Certifications such as VMware VCP, Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE), or similar.
Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments.
Familiarity with automation and monitoring tools (PowerCLI, Ansible, SolarWinds, etc.).
