VMWare Administrator

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

Provide a stable, secure, and performant virtualization platform (VDI and RDSH) through end‑to‑end ownership of escalated tickets, proactive monitoring, disciplined image lifecycle management, and outcome‑based end‑user experience (EUX) management.

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience in Virtualization / EUC support and operations

Strong experience with:

• VMware Horizon VDI and RDSH environments
• Windows OS administration and image management
• ITIL-based processes experience
• Proven experience in enterprise IT services and operations

Roles & Responsibilities

Following Technologies/Tools (To demonstrate fully or partially)

o VMware Horizon (Core)

o VMware vSphere / ESXi

o VMware Dynamic Environment Manager (DEM)

o VMware App Volumes (Critical)

o MSIX App Attach / MSIX Packaging Tool

o vCenter Server

o Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDSH)

o Golden Image Management

o VMware Instant Clones / Linked Clones

o Image Automation Tools

o Microsoft WSUS / MECM (SCCM)

o EUX Monitoring (ControlUp or similar)

o Automation & Scripting (Powershell, Python...)

Salary Range: $100,000 -$120,000 year
