Administer, maintain, monitor, and support enterprise VMware virtualization platforms, including vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, and related ecosystem components.
Design, install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot VMware infrastructure across production, DR, and test environments.
Lead VMware cluster management activities, including host deployment, lifecycle management, capacity planning, and hardware refresh initiatives.
Perform advanced troubleshooting of ESXi hosts, virtual machines, storage, networking, HA, DRS, vMotion, and vSAN-related issues.
Manage VMware patching, upgrades, security hardening, and vulnerability remediation activities while ensuring minimal business disruption.
Configure and maintain backup, recovery, replication, snapshot, and disaster recovery solutions for virtualized workloads.
Ensure compliance with organizational security standards, audit requirements, and infrastructure governance policies.
Monitor infrastructure performance, analyze trends, identify risks, and implement proactive improvements to enhance platform stability and efficiency.
Perform root cause analysis for critical incidents, develop preventive measures, and drive continuous service improvements.
Support infrastructure modernization initiatives, including VMware version upgrades, capacity optimization, workload migrations, and cloud integration projects.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Storage, Backup, Network, Security, Server, and Application teams to resolve complex infrastructure issues.
Roles & Responsibilities

Participate in on-call support, planned maintenance activities, major incident resolution, and disaster recovery testing exercises.
