Develop diagnostic tools, establish monitoring protocols, and resolve complex incidents through root cause analysis while ensuring SLA adherence and creating action plans to prevent recurrence

Conduct detailed IT infrastructure evaluations and due diligence across multiple tracks, identify gaps and risks, and collaborate with stakeholders to recommend tailored enhancements and validate infrastructure details

Create scalable, secure, and high-performing IT infrastructure solutions

Optimize deployment processes, ensure environment readiness, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to creation of deployment documentation

Develop and implement robust change management protocols to minimize risks, analyze proposed changes, and ensure smooth integration of system and technology updates

Analyze and enhance system performance by implementing advanced monitoring tools, addressing capacity needs, and designing solutions to prevent bottlenecks

Implement security measures and disaster recovery strategies including risk assessments

Identify opportunities for process optimization, design and implement automation tools, and evaluate their impact to enhance efficiency and productivity

Collaborate with multi-vendor and cross-functional teams to ensure project execution and document project activities

Create specialized knowledge repositories, document methodologies, and drive learning to preserve organizational insights and enhance team efficiency

  • Interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency in providing L2/L3 support of VMware environment running on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
  • Provide technical support and guidance, ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and security of VCF infrastructure.
  • Experience in managing High Availability clustered systems.
  • Possess knowledge of Backup & Recovery strategies and Data center experience.
  • Experience in infrastructure management, with a focus on VMware environments.
  • Hands on experience with VCF or similar cloud platforms.
  • Deep understanding of VMware VCF architecture, components, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in virtualization, storage, networking, and cloud technologies. Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
  • Data center Operations knowledge - preferably HPE Synergy hardware
  • Admin experience on Linux (RHEL) or Windows environments.
  • Expertise in vSphere, vSAN, NSX. Maintain VCF environments according to best practices and standards.
  • Monitor and optimize VCF infrastructure performance, capacity, and utilization.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, address vulnerabilities and business continuity for VCF environments.
  • Implement and manage security measures to protect VCF infrastructure and data.
  • Contribute to VCF projects, including planning, implementation, and migration activities.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
  • Knowledge on infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • ITIL knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

In Malta, NY: $98,341 to $141,291

In Burlington, VT: $118,386 to $153,902
