About the Positions
Wilson Workforce and Rehabilitation Center (WWRC) Vocational Rehabilitation Department is seeking two Vocational Rehabilitation Evaluators to join our team. The Vocational Rehabilitation Evaluator facilitates career assessment and exploration services that support individuals as they progress through the VR process toward competitive, integrated employment. This role is essential in helping participants identify strengths, barriers, and pathways toward meaningful career outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
ASSESSMENT OF INDIVIDUALS
Provide comprehensive career assessment and exploration services that guide individuals through the VR process.
Key Tasks:
COLLABORATION, TRAINING, AND RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT
Work closely with admissions, VRCs, and referral sources to ensure timely and effective assessment services.
Key Tasks:
PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION, DOCUMENTATION, AND COMPLIANCE
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with audit and reporting standards.

Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Required for Entry into Position:
Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Vocational Evaluation, or a closely related
field.
Additional Considerations
Possession of a CRC (Certified Rehabilitation Counselor) or CVE (Certified Vocational Evaluator) or eligibility to sit for the certification examination may substitute for the educational requirement.
Special Instructions
This position has been designated a sensitive position under Va. Code § 2.2 1201.1.
A fingerprint based criminal history check will be required of the finalist.
