Responsibilities vary by the focus of the position:
AI Voice Engineering/Development: Building and optimizing voice agents from scratch, integrating Large Language Models (LLMs), and ensuring low-latency processing of Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and Text-to-Speech (TTS).
Voice Agent Deployment: Setting up workflow automations for lead qualification, booking appointments, and resolving customer support inquiries without human intervention.
Voice Data & Training: Providing emotional, accent, and conversational voice samples for training AI systems, or reviewing AI-generated speech to ensure it sounds authentic. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Key Requirements
Technical Skills: Familiarity with AI workflows, natural language processing (NLP) pipelines, API integrations, and prompt engineering.
