Sandy Mac Evolution is seeking a motivated, career and customer -oriented Voice and Video Engineer<\/b> to support mission -critical communication systems in Doral, Florida<\/b>. This position will support complex voice, video, and unified communications environments while working closely with technical teams, leadership, and mission partners.
<\/p>

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting secure voice and video communication solutions across enterprise and DoD environments.
<\/p>

Responsibilities
<\/h3>

The Voice and Video Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex voice and video communication solutions to ensure seamless and effective organizational communication.
<\/p>

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
<\/p>

<\/p>

• Design, engineer, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure voice and video solutions aligned with mission and business requirements.
<\/div>
• Develop architectural diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation plans.
<\/div>
• Configure, support, and troubleshoot VoIP systems, video conferencing endpoints, gateways, call control systems, and unified communications platforms.
<\/div>
• Evaluate and recommend new voice, video, and collaboration technologies.
<\/div>
• Lead implementation and deployment of new systems and enhancements.
<\/div>
• Collaborate with network, systems, cybersecurity, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration across the communications environment.
<\/div>
• Monitor system performance, analyze usage, and identify opportunities for optimization.
<\/div>
• Implement and maintain security measures for voice and video platforms.
<\/div>
• Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and support resolution of complex technical issues.
<\/div>
• Develop knowledge base articles, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
<\/div>
• Provide guidance to subordinate team members as required.
<\/div>
• Take direction from the DoDIN Operations Lead and support mission objectives as assigned.
<\/div>

Minimum Qualifications
<\/h3>

<\/p>

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
<\/div>
• Four additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
<\/div>
• 8+ years of professional experience.
<\/div>
• 5+ years of relevant Voice and Video Engineering experience.
<\/div>
• Expertise configuring and troubleshooting voice and video equipment, including IP phones, video conferencing endpoints, gateways, and call control systems.
<\/div>
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, QoS, and security protocols.
<\/div>
• In -depth knowledge of voice and video communication technologies, protocols, and standards, including VoIP, SIP, H.323, and WebRTC.
<\/div>
• Extensive experience with VoIP systems, video conferencing platforms, and unified communications solutions.
<\/div>
• Must possess an 8570 IASAE certification.
<\/div>

Preferred Qualifications
<\/h3>

<\/p>

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
<\/div>
• Knowledge of emerging voice and video technologies, including cloud -based solutions and AI -powered video analytics.
<\/div>
• Experience with network automation and orchestration for voice and video systems.
<\/div>
• Cisco Certified Network Professional, Collaboration certification.
<\/div>
• Avaya Certified Expert certification.
<\/div>
• Unified Communications certification.
<\/div>
• Microsoft Certified Teams Administrator Associate certification.
<\/div>
• Experience supporting a DoD Combatant Command, such as SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM, or a component command.
<\/div>
• Working knowledge of Land Mobile Radio, SATCOM, cabling, site surveys, inside plant, outside plant, and point -to -point communications.
<\/div>

Clearance Requirements

• Must have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility<\/b>.

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.

• Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers, senior personnel, management, and customers.
