Voice & Connectivity Solutions Specialist

Access One is a business technology services and communications provider focused on helping organizations simplify, modernize, and manage their critical communications and connectivity. Our solutions span traditional telecom, VoIP, UCaaS, internet connectivity, managed IT, cloud, and related services. We work closely with clients to understand their needs, design practical solutions, and deliver a high-quality experience from discovery through implementation.

Role Overview

The Voice & Connectivity Solutions Specialist will play a key role in helping Access One scope, quote, and coordinate client solutions across traditional voice, VoIP, UCaaS, broadband, fiber, coax, and circuit-based connectivity. This role is more than order processing: it requires curiosity, problem solving, client-facing communication, and the ability to translate business needs into practical telecom and internet solutions.

The ideal candidate possesses strong business and technical curiosity. While deep engineering expertise is not required, the ability to understand telecommunications concepts, ask effective discovery questions, and translate client needs into practical solutions is essential.

What You Will Do
  • Scope client telecom and internet needs by gathering requirements around locations, users, call flows, bandwidth, redundancy, business priorities, timelines, and budget.
  • Prepare and deliver solution quotes using multiple underlying carriers, Access One products, and internal quoting tools.
  • Recommend practical, cost-effective options across traditional voice, VoIP, UCaaS, SIP, broadband, DIA, fiber, coax, and other connectivity services.
  • Partner with sales to clarify client needs, identify gaps, explain options, and support a consultative selling motion. (this role does not carry a quota)
  • Translate customer requirements into clean internal documentation for ordering, provisioning, implementation, and support teams.
  • Coordinate orders from quote acceptance through installation, keeping internal stakeholders, vendors, and clients aligned.
  • Manage multiple opportunities and orders at the same time while maintaining accuracy, urgency, and clear communication.
  • Identify risks, roadblocks, missing information, or carrier constraints early and escalate appropriately.
  • Maintain working knowledge of Access One telecom, UCaaS, VoIP, internet, and connectivity offerings, along with carrier capabilities and ordering requirements.
  • Provide professional written and verbal updates to clients, sales, vendors, and internal departments throughout the solution and implementation lifecycle.
  • Support process improvement, documentation, and special projects as the role and solution portfolio continue to evolve.
What Success Looks Like
  • Clients and sales teams receive thoughtful solution options, not just basic price quotes.
  • Orders are clean, complete, and easier for downstream teams to implement.
  • Carrier and product recommendations are aligned to the client’s business need, technical environment, and budget.
  • Internal teams have clear documentation and fewer avoidable handoff issues.
  • The role becomes a trusted bridge between sales, clients, vendors, provisioning, and operations.
Who You Are
  • You have experience in telecommunications, internet services, carrier services, UCaaS, VoIP, or a related technology services environment.
  • You understand, or are eager to deepen your understanding of, circuits, broadband, fiber, coax, SIP, hosted voice, UCaaS platforms, call routing, and telecom ordering workflows.
  • You are comfortable asking discovery questions and turning incomplete information into a clear next step.
  • You can balance detail-oriented order management with solution-oriented thinking.
  • You communicate clearly with clients, sales teams, vendors, and technical resources.
  • You are organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities without losing track of details.
  • You enjoy learning new products, carrier options, and technical concepts.
  • You are comfortable working in systems, quoting tools, spreadsheets, CRM/order platforms, and Microsoft Office.
  • You can work independently while also collaborating across departments.
  • You bring a professional, steady, client-focused approach when timelines, requirements, or priorities change.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience preparing telecom, internet, VoIP, UCaaS, or connectivity quotes.
  • Familiarity with carrier portals, CLEC environments, telecom provisioning, or order management workflows.
  • Exposure to SIP, PRI, analog lines, hosted voice, Teams voice, contact center, SD-WAN, broadband, DIA, fiber, coax, or failover solutions.
  • Experience working directly with sales teams, clients, vendors, or implementation resources.
  • Ability to document technical and business requirements in a way that is clear, accurate, and actionable.
Growth Path

This role is designed for someone who can grow beyond transactional quoting and order processing into a more consultative solution scoping role. Over time, this person should become a go-to resource for telecom, UCaaS, voice, and internet solution design support across Access One’s sales and operations teams.

Why Build Your Career at Access One
  • Work on practical technology solutions that directly impact client operations.
  • Grow your knowledge across telecom, UCaaS, internet, managed services, and cloudbased solutions.
  • Collaborate with experienced sales, operations, provisioning, and technical teams.
  • Join a company that values accountability, client experience, and continuous improvement.
  • Access professional development, benefits, PTO, financial planning resources, company events, and community involvement opportunities.
Compensation
Salary Range: $75,000–$85,000
