We are a leading construction company seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Volumetric Mixer Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in operating heavy trucks, specifically volumetric mixers, and be familiar with construction vehicles and concrete material handling. Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Operate a volumetric concrete mixer truck, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality mixed concrete to our construction sites.
• Ensure DOT compliance at all times, adhering to all safety and operational guidelines.
• Load and unload construction materials as required, ensuring careful handling to prevent damage.
• Perform regular maintenance on the mixer truck, including basic mechanical repairs to ensure the vehicle remains in good working order.
• Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery tickets and driver logs, to maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with the dispatch team to ensure efficient routing and delivery scheduling.
• Participate in regular safety meetings, contributing to a culture of safety within the team.
• Communicate effectively with the construction team to coordinate delivery and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience operating heavy trucks in the construction industry.
• Must possess a valid CDL Class B license.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with volumetric mixers and concrete material handling.
• Proficient in DOT compliance and regulations.
• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic maintenance and repairs on heavy trucks.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• High level of physical fitness, able to lift and handle heavy construction materials.
• Strong commitment to safety, with a proven record of operating vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment, managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a drug screening and background check.
