Position Summary:
As an integrated health organization, Acenda values the use of evidence-based practice or EBP's.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Functions within the agency's policies and procedures.
Operates according to the program operations manual.

Communicates programmatic or job-related concerns to supervisor and makes suggestions for improvement in an appropriate and timely manner
Communicates any performance concerns or training needs to the supervisor in an appropriate and timely manner
Conducts self in a professional manner that positively reflects the agency culture
Demonstrates competent written and verbal communication with referral sources and external customers
Attentive and responsive to customer needs in a helpful, supportive, and timely manner.
Works collaboratively with coworkers and agency staff to effectively communicate and problem-solve
Meets obligations of the program (contractual, licensing, Medicaid, etc.)
Follows program policies and procedures and encourages the same in others
Educates self on issues impacting the program population
Operates conscientiously in accordance with program budget (i.e., use of client engaging funds, office supplies)
Ensures quality and accuracy of written and verbal communications
Submits documentation within program requirements
Attends agency and program meetings and training within established time frames
Plays an active role in meetings and training designed to enhance agency and program operations
Provides culturally competent service delivery
Upholds ethical standards in accordance with the Social Work Code of Ethics
Provides appropriate intervention strategies and adjusts services accordingly
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Substance Use Disorder Programs
Establishes rapport, gathers clinical data, assesses readiness for treatment; and applies criteria for diagnosis
Screens for psychoactive substance toxicity, intoxication, withdrawal symptoms, co-occurring mental health conditions, and risk of harm to self or others.
Interprets screening results to determine treatment priorities
Children and Youth Programs
Demonstrates knowledge of age-appropriate developmental milestones.
Formulates measurable, individualized treatment goals and objectives.
Housing Support Services for Homeless Clients
Applies evidence-based or accepted case management practices.
Demonstrates communication and advocacy skills.
Understands and complies with Fair Housing rules and regulations.
Security Personnel Only
Understands and complies with the agency's channel of communication
Understands the distinction between administrative and clinical seclusion or restraint.
Knows how to respond appropriately to critical incidents and unusual events.
Education, Work Experience and/or Skills Requirements:
High School/bachelor's/master's degree (dependent on program)
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Must be able to exercise independent thinking and good judgment under all circumstances.
Must be able to analyze work, set goals, develop plans, and utilize time effectively and efficiently.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
Repeated motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
The employee must occasionally move about to accomplish tasks, adjust or move objects up to 20 pounds.
Must be able to communicate with others to exchange information
