Hours: 8a.m. - 11a.m.
Join the Lake Havasu Senior Center team as an Annex Donations Processor and help support programs that benefit local older adults. Volunteers in this role assist with receiving, sorting, and organizing donated items to ensure they are safe, clean, and ready for distribution or resale. By keeping the donations area orderly and processing items efficiently, you help the Senior Center maintain high-quality services for the community. This behind-the-scenes role is perfect for someone who enjoys organizing, working with their hands, and making a meaningful impact.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Basic sorting, organizing, and inventory practices
Follow established donation handling procedures and safety guidelines
Operate basic office and processing equipment (computers, labelers, scales, carts, etc.) as needed
Identify items that are clean, safe, and suitable for reuse or resale
Understand and apply program policies, rules, and instructions
Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information or donor interactions
Communicate clearly and respectfully with donors, staff, and volunteers
Work cooperatively in a team environment and contribute to a positive workspace
Stay organized, multitask, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Use good judgment when sorting donations, discarding unusable items, or asking for guidance
