CRAFT SHOP - Volunteer Instructor

Multiple Volunteers | September 1, 2026 - January 8, 2027

(Any 10-week commitment within this timeframe)

Teach arts and crafts to guests of all ages and abilities. Activities may include:

• Pottery painting

• Tie-dye

• Ceramics

• Mosaics

• Leatherwork

• Jewelry making

Requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to support multiple guests through the creative process. Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly Craft Shop.

HOUSEKEEPING

A. Crates

2 Volunteers | October - December

(Minimum 10-week commitment)

Primary responsibilities include ensuring the Housekeeping team is fully supplied for cleaning operations.

FOOD SERVICE

3-5 Volunteers | September 15 - December 31

(Minimum 10-week commitment)

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting and assisting staff and guests in dining halls

• Ensuring staff are wearing badges

Seeking individuals with excellent customer service skills who are friendly, personable, helpful, patient, and professional.

GENERAL YMCA OF THE ROCKIES REQUIREMENTS:

• Uphold and reflect the YMCA core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility and Faith in all functions
• Uphold the YMCA of the Rockies Mission, policies, and programs.
• Possess and demonstrates excellent customer service skills; for example, friendly, personable, helpful, patient, and professional.
• Support the YMCA of the Rockies safety program. Promote safe work environment for guests, members, and staff.
• Must meet acceptable criminal background check standards.
• Housing expectation of having 1-3 roommates
