We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to serve as a Volunteer Assistant Wrestling Coach for the upcoming season and beyond. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and developing our student-athletes, while promoting a culture of sportsmanship, integrity, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive wrestling program that emphasizes skill development, strategy, and teamwork.
Plan and conduct regular practice sessions, focusing on physical conditioning, skill drills, and match preparation.
Evaluate and select players for the team, ensuring a fair and inclusive tryout process.
Collaborate with assistant coaches to design strategies and analyze opponents.
Foster a positive and supportive team environment that promotes academic success, personal growth, and character development.
Communicate effectively with players, parents, school administration, and the broader community.
