Volunteer & Intern Opportunities

Volunteers provide a wide range of support based on the volunteer’s interest and the current needs of the agency. Volunteers will work with the Volunteer Coordinator to find the appropriate placement. Volunteers will continue service opportunities through ongoing communication with the Volunteer Coordinator and assigned Supervisors.

Agency Expectations of the Volunteer:

• Follow all policies and procedures of the agency
• Complete assigned tasks and seek support as needed
• Only accept assignments in which the volunteer can complete to the best of their abilities
• Respect the confidentiality of agency business

Volunteer Expectations of the Agency:

• To have meaningful service opportunities
• Receive necessary support to perform tasks to the best of your capabilities
• Respect for efficient and effective use of volunteer time
• To be treated with mutual respect by agency staff members
