Partner with local nonprofits to build volunteer pipelines and outreach campaigns that increase benefit utilization at farmers markets/pantries, expand communal garden participation, and boost SFSP engagement. Co-create multilingual materials on SNAP/EBT, More in My Basket, market incentives; host cooking demos/taste tests; deploy at markets, pantries, schools. Facilitate training on basics of small agri-business development and management, how to successfully manage a community garden. Assist in developing and strengthening volunteer engagement systems (recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention) to support community garden and wellness programming. Support the design and refinement of outreach strategies that expand equitable access to programs aligned with the Eight Dimensions of Wellness. Document and standardize processes and protocols for garden operations and program delivery to increase consistency, efficiency, and long-term sustainability.
