Volunteer Sports Coach North Scottsdale/Fountain Hills

Make a difference! - Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale is looking for responsible, reliable, and caring adults who are committed to making a positive impact on the great futures of our kids and teens.

Your Role:

Under the direction of our Sports & Fitness Coordinators, volunteer coaches help support Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale's sports program by showing our members the importance of staying active and healthy!

• Provide instruction and practice sports with our Club members (the kids and teens in our program)
• Provide great experiences to Club members.
• Provide all youth with basic instructions of the sport.
• Provide practice in a way that all youth are able to participate.
• Support our staffs' efforts to create fun and safe experiences for kids.
• Work as part of a great volunteer team.
• Possess the ability to interact and work well with others.
• Seek out the help of the staff if there are any issues or concerns.

Total Time Commitment:

• Hours: Monday- Friday evenings and Saturday mornings/afternoons
• Length of Assignment: 2 - 3 Days per week, for 8 weeks (varies by sports season)

Practices are 1 hour Monday- Thursday, depending on the Branch.

Games are 1 hour either on Friday evenings or Saturday mornings/afternoons.
