About the Role:Agape Mental Health Services LLC is looking for compassionate and dedicated Volunteers to join our mission of providing meaningful mental health support to our community in Parkville, MD. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals navigating mental health challenges. Responsibilities:- Support mental health professionals and staff in day-to-day operations and client services
- Assist with community outreach, awareness events, and mental health education initiatives
- Provide a welcoming and supportive environment for clients and their families
- Help with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scheduling support
- Participate in volunteer training sessions and team meetings
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all client interactions
- Assist with resource coordination and connecting clients to community support services
Requirements:- Monday-Friday 10 am-6 pm; schedule varies
- Genuine passion for mental health advocacy and community service
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to fulfilling volunteer responsibilities
- Background in mental health, social work, or human services is a plus but not required
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Must pass a background check prior to volunteering
