    Job Roles

    • The Medical Assistant Student will learn clinical and administrative skills required to become an entry-level Medical Assistant.
    • Participate in classroom instructions covering a broad range of clinical and administrative contents and subjects.
    • Through the instruction and training program process, will perform a wide variety of patient activities to include accommodative services for assigned clinic patients.
    • Will apply principles and practices learned in the program when move to the externship function at the end of the training program of instruction.

    Education/Certifications/Licenses/Registrations

    • High School Diploma or equivalent GED Certificate required.
    • Must be 18 years of age or older.
    • Current American Heart Association healthcare provider CPT (BLS).

    Experience/Specialized skills (including Language)

    • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
