    Job Description

    Responsibilities: for the Voucher Examiner include: Review and examine vouchers, invoices, and reimbursement requests for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal regulations and contract requirements. Validate labor charges, travel expenses, cost data, and supporting documentation against approved funding authorizations, rate schedules, and contract terms. Maintain audit-ready records and support internal and external audits by researching discrepancies and resolving findings. Enter, track, and reconcile voucher information within financial management systems while maintaining accurate reporting logs. Partner with program managers, CORs, vendors, and financial analysts to resolve payment issues and ensure timely processing. Required Qualifications for the Voucher Examiner include: 3+ years of experience in federal financial management, voucher examination, invoice processing, accounts payable, or related financial operations. Experience using federal financial systems such as Delphi, PRISM, FMIS, or similar accounting and payment platforms. Knowledge of FAR regulations, federal cost principles, allowable cost rules, labor categories, and rate validation processes. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or other federal background investigation, if required.
