Description

Technical Accounting & AdvisoryResearch and interpret complex accounting issues across multiple business lines. Provide guidance on topics such as revenue recognition, financial instruments, consolidations, and structured transactions. Evaluate accounting implications of new and existing transactions.Policy & Standard ImplementationSupport the adoption and implementation of new accounting standards. Develop and enhance accounting policies to ensure consistency and compliance. Monitor regulatory and accounting developments, assessing potential impact.Stakeholder CollaborationPartner with teams across Finance, Risk, Treasury, and Front Office. Communicate technical conclusions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Advise on the financial reporting impact of key business initiatives.Reporting & DocumentationPrepare technical accounting memos supporting conclusions and methodologies. Contribute to financial statement preparation, including footnotes and disclosures. Maintain strong documentation to support audit and regulatory review.Audit & GovernanceLiaise with internal and external auditors on accounting matters. Support governance initiatives and maintain strong control standards.
